The
SFI®
Program in Virginia provides a procedure for monitoring the performance
of SFI Program participants.
Anyone can report perceived Inconsistent Practices to the SFI Program Administrator, Virginia Forestry Association, at 800-421-TREE (8733), 804-278-8733, or write to the Virginia Forestry Association, 3808 Augusta Avenue, Richmond, VA 23230-3910.
Examples of such Inconsistent Practices would be deviations from SFI Objectives, including situations that do not follow Virginia's Best Management Practices (BMP) guidelines.
A copy of Virginia's BMP guidelines, Forestry Best Management Practices for Water Quality, is available at the Virginia Department of Forestry web site.
